Aurea Preview

Long awaited Aurea showflat preview set to start on 22/02/2025 and will be ongoing for 2 weeks before sales start on 08/03/2025 with price starting at $1.92m for a 2 bedroom unit.

Aurea, a 45-storey tower of “vertical bungalows” with 188 luxury apartments from two- to six-bedroom units including two penthouses, is key to Golden Mile Complex’s redevelopment.

Enbloc by Perennial Holdings, Far East Organization, and Sino Land in the combined sale of Golden Mile Complex for $700 million in 2022 Aurea lies on a 144,908 sq ft property. Level 2 will link it to The Golden Mile via an elevated link bridge.

Inspired by the tradition of Golden Mile Complex, “Aurea“—derived from the Latin “aurum,” meaning “gold—honors it by including reinterpretations including vast tropical verandahs, deep overhangs and the unique oculus patterns.

Its vertical reinvention of The Golden Mile’s linear idea, together with its bay and city views, and focus on openness and greenery, sets it in a niche of its own in the real estate scene of Singapore.

Ms. Shaw Lay See of Far East Organization, says Aurea stands out as a modern residential tower combined with a protected monument.

“Sitting alongside The Golden Mile, this integration lets locals live in a development that celebrates Singapore’s architectural legacy while providing a future-ready urban lifestyle,” she says.

“Aurea’s design gives residents two options: Singapore’s famous city skyline or amazing views of Marina Bay and Kallang Basin.”

While the city-facing condos will have sleek, modern design, the bay-facing units will have sky gardens and large balconies.

Then there is the Sky Villa Collection, which features two penthouses built as a duplex and a triplex together with eighteen five-bedroom luxury flats.

Chief executive of DP Architects, Mr Seah Chee Huang, who worked with the developers on conceptualising Aurea, argues that rather than copying Golden Mile Complex’s Brutalist features, Aurea’s appearance finds inspiration in the complex’s audacious architecture.

For modern urban life, its architectural language, environmental responsiveness and community-centric design have been updated.

Once the tower is finished in 2029, residents will be able to use two infinity pools, a fully furnished gym and private entertainment areas.
